Wall-to-wall carpet is also known as fitted carpet, moquette, and broadloom carpet. All these terms refer to the same type of flooring.
Usages of Raha Carpet
As mentioned, Raha possesses a loop-pile structure which makes it more appropriate for high-foot-traffic places such as offices. Its loop-pile structure is low-height and this feature intensifies Raha’s loop-pile properties. For example, It is quite more anti-static and less soft compared to other loop-pile carpets and more resistant against erosion.
In addition to high-foot-traffic places, if you are considering carpeting your entire home with a durable and cost-effective wall-to-wall carpet, Raha can be a great choice for you, especially due to its raw material (Polypropylene), it has a low moisture absorption rate that makes the carpet extremely suitable for kitchens.
Technical Specifications of Raha Carpet
Raha is made of Polypropylene with a 1/10 gauge and high pile density. Raha’s pile includes two twisted layers of pile. Its dye method is solution-dyed, meaning the color of the carpet originates from the color of each pile; there is no printed design on it. The pile height is 4 mm with a 0.5 mm tolerance, and both the pile weight and the total weight are 400 and 1500 (g/sqm) respectively, with a 100 g tolerance as well. Additionally, Raha can be equipped with an anti-slip backing, making the carpet safer to walk on. The anti-slip backing prevents the carpet from shifting when someone moves across it.
Anti-slip wall-to-wall carpets are the new generation of carpets that make floors safer and reduce the risk of falls or injuries. For more detailed information about this generation, check out our article titled “Anti-slip Wall-to-Wall Carpet: A Secure Choice“.
