Therefore, it’s crucial to ensure that the carpet does not slip when someone is in motion. Neglecting this aspect may result in serious physical injuries. Anti-slip wall-to-wall carpets typically come at a higher price compared to regular carpets due to the extra backing. In the past, carpet installers used glue to prevent slipping, but glue isn’t an ideal solution as it can cause problems, especially when replacing the carpet or changing the flooring type. With the introduction of anti-slip backing, glue is no longer necessary.
